Everything You Need to Know to Get Scheduled at OrthoLA

Scheduling an appointment at OrthoLA is simple—and our team is here to help you every step of the way.

Whether you’re a new patient or coming in for a follow-up, we’ve outlined everything you need to know before your visit.

How to Schedule

To make an appointment, call us directly at 985-625-2200. Our team will help you find the next available appointment at the clinic most convenient to you.

Appointment Reminders

We use an automated system called NetReminder to notify you of your upcoming appointment. You’ll receive a call at your designated number a day or two before your visit. If you prefer not to receive automated reminders, just let our team know when you schedule.

Need to Reschedule?

If you’re unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice. This allows us to offer that time to another patient. Please note: While we do our best to stay on schedule, occasional delays may happen due to emergencies or surgeries. If your provider is running behind, we’ll do our best to notify you and offer options as needed.

Minors Must Be Accompanied

Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the time of their appointment.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

To keep things running smoothly, please bring the following items with you:

  • Insurance card(s)

  • Valid driver’s license or photo ID

  • Referral form (if required by your insurance plan)

  • Recent imaging (X-rays, MRIs, etc.) or relevant medical records

  • Completed Patient Registration Packet (if available)

Complete Your Forms Before You Arrive

To save time at check-in, we recommend completing your New Patient Registration Packet before your visit. You can download the forms from our website or request them when scheduling.

Ways to return your forms:

  • Submit them electronically (ask our staff how)

  • Drop them off in person at any of our locations

  • Fax to 985-625-2206

  • Bring a printed copy with you on the day of your appointment

Please do not mail your forms, as we cannot guarantee they will be received in time.
